Lead Clinician and Senior Partner

I have been at Manor Park since April 1999. I am proud to be a family doctor and a Generalist and can't imagine doing anything else. I particularly enjoy the on-going relationships with my patients which has developed over time, both on an individual and a family level, as I consider continuity to be key in helping patients navigate any health related issues they may encounter in their lives.

I am also Chairman of East Sussex Local Medical Committee, representing local GP's

Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Mrs Claire Burge (f)

Claire Burge is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who joined us in April 2019.

She is a highly trained clinician who is able to see the majority of our patients for a full range of conditions. She is also able to prescribe, so is able to write a prescription if appropriate.

Claire is a fantastic asset and we are very lucky to have such a well qualified clinician join our team.

Physiotherapist

If you have a painful joint or muscular pain, you will be referred immediately to our local inhouse physiotherapist to see if they can help you with your symptoms

Social Prescriber

Occasionally there may be problems that contribute to health care concerns, our Social Prescriber is here to help with any issues you may be facing outside of your health.

Pharmacist

Our Pharmacist deals with the majority of the routine prescription requests, hospital discharge medication requests and adhoc enquiries, you may be contacted directly by them rather than a receptionist

Ms Kimberly Wishart

Kim is an experienced Practice Nurse and has joined us from a practice in Hailsham. She has many skills she is able to add to the nursing team and joined us in 2020.

Healthcare Assistants

Mrs Dee Lothian

Dee is an experienced Healthcare Assistant and will be joining us from Eastbourne Hospital.

Mrs Claire Scammell

Claire is an experienced Associate Practitioner and has joined us from another practice, adding her extensive skill set to our nursing team.

Practice Management

Mrs Anita Taylor

I joined GP Practice Management in 2011 from a background of 25 years in banking. This experience is used in the day to day management of the Practice and is a busy, challenging, enjoyable role.

I became a Partner within the business on the 1st December 2019.

Administration

Shirley is our Reception Manager and joined the team in 2018. She is responsible for the smooth running of the administration team and will assist Patients in their day to day requests. Shirley will also be the first contact for any feedback or concerns a patient would wish to make.

Reception

We have a number of receptionists working hard to ensure that all patient requests are carried out and processed through the system. The role has developed over the last few years to become more complicated and demanding, so the training and abilities of the staff have increased to reflect the changing demands of the NHS.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
