In addition to general health services, the Doctors also offer:
Cryotherapy – freezing of verrucas, skin tags and other amenable skin lesions using liquid nitrogen. Clinics are held once a month at our Manor Park Surgery.
Child Health – baby checks and developmental assessments are carried out in conjunction with the services offered by the Health Visitors.
Antenatal Care – maternity care is shared between the GPs, the Community Midwives and sometimes the obstetric team at the hospital. If you are planning to become pregnant, or find yourself pregnant, please see your GP as soon as possible.
Emergency Contraception – advice and treatment where appropriate
Health Checks
Registered patients aged between 16 and 74 who have not
attended an appointment within the last three years, or
those aged 75 and over who have not been seen within the
past twelve months, may request an appointment.
District Nurses
Our District Nursing colleagues run clinics in Polegate
(at Manor Park Medical Centre) and in Hampden Park (at
the nearby Eastbourne Park Primary Care Centre) where
services such as suture removal and dressings are
offered. They also visit housebound patients in the
community offering various nursing services.
